

Recall on 71,000 Fisher-Price Inclined-Sleeper Accessories for Infant Play Yards Announced
On Thursday, June 27, 2019, Fisher-Price and the US Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall of 71,000 inclined-sleeper accessories for infant play yards. The inclined-sleeper accessory is included with all models of the Ultra-Lite Day & Night Play Yard. The recall decision came as a result of safety concerns over babies sleeping at a 30-degree angle, not the report of any injuries or fatalities. This decision comes after Fisher-Price recalled about 4.7 million Rock ‘n Play Sleepers in April, 2019 that had been responsible for over 30 infant deaths in 10 years as a result of mis-use.

On Thursday, January 12, 2017 it was announced that Honda Motor Co. is issued a product recall for an additional 772,000 Honda and Acura vehicles in the U.S. for defective front passenger seat air bag inflators made by Japanese supplier Takata Corp. Ford is recalling more than 816,000 vehicles in North America in the product recall.
