

B.C. Woman Killed in Blaine, WA Head-On Collision
A head-on collision near the U.S. / Canada border in Blaine, WA on May 13, 2018 left a Richmond B.C., woman dead. Trouble started when a car, driven by the deceased woman, went over the center line and crashed into an oncoming semi-truck.

According to State Troopers, a Honda Accord was driving north on Washington State route highwaySR-543 when it crossed into oncoming traffic Sunday night, hitting the semi-truck. The 56-year old driver of the car, Tupou Dyck, was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses said that the truck driver, a 51-year-old person from Surrey B.C., tried to avoid hitting the Honda by veering to the right-hand side of the road but was unable to avoid the accident. The truck driver was not injured in the crash.
