Another person has been struck in Bellingham, Washington in a pedestrian hit-and-run accident. The crash happened Wednesday, January 31, 2018 on I-5 near Samish Way. The man, who had been walking on the highway, was taken to Harborview Medical Center with signs of head trauma and leg injuries consistent with being hit by a car.
The State Patrol reports a trooper responded to a 911 call at about 9:30 p.m. that a man was walking in both lanes of southbound I-5. The trooper found Lucas Brazier of Woodinville in the brush. Brazier and troopers were still looking for the suspected vehicle or driver at the time of the KOMO news report on Friday, February 2.
