Joel D. Matteson is admitted to the Washington State Bar focusing his practice primarily on personal injury litigation. Mr. Matteson is a member of the Whatcom County and East King County Bar Associations.

Mr. Matteson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder where he was an Honor Roll student. Continuing his education, Mr. Matteson earned his Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego. As a Dean’s List student at Thomas Jefferson, Mr. Matteson won the prestigious CALI and Witkin Awards for Academic Excellence and he also received the Jefferson Medal for receiving the highest grade in his class.

In his spare time, Mr. Matteson enjoys playing golf, trail running, and hiking the Chuckanuts with his wife, Katie, and Labrador retriever, Lucy.
