Mr. Kok initially practiced in the Kitsap County area focusing on family law. Prior to joining Tario & Associates, P.S. in 2004, Mr. Kok was an associate for the law firm of Preston, Gates and Ellis, LPP in Seattle, Washington. As an associate with the firm, Mr. Kok focuses his practice on family law matters.

Kent Kok grew up in Lynden, Washington. He attended Washington State University in Pullman, Washington where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1993. Kent earned his Juris Doctorate in 1999 from the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. Before attending the University of Oregon, he attended the University of North Carolina while owning a small coffee shop with a college friend.

Mr. Kok is a member of the Whatcom County Bar Association and the Skagit County Bar Association and practices law in both Whatcom and Skagit Counties.

In addition to the practice of law, Mr. Kok enjoys baseball, Seattle sports and outdoor activities.
